Two more COVID-19 patients hospitalized

By Aaron Humes: 11 persons remain hospitalized with COVID-19 as of today, Tuesday, up to two from Monday.

Of these, four are unvaccinated; two are partially vaccinated, and five are fully vaccinated.

Meanwhile, three persons among these nine are in the intensive care unit, down one from Monday.

Two patients are unvaccinated and one fully vaccinated.

Belizeans are reminded to get their vaccinations whether first or second dose or booster shots if they have both, as the vaccine remains the best chance of recovery from COVID depending on the level of infection and presence of risk factors for non-communicable diseases and other comorbidities such as diabetes and hypertension.
