San Isidro villager in critical condition after being stabbed

By BBN Staff: A man was stabbed in Bella Vista Village, Toledo District last night.

Police say that officers on a routine mobile patrol in the village found the man lying on a veranda with wounds to the body.

He was taken to the Southern Regional Hospital where he was later identified as 22-year-old Jose Eleazar Pop.

Due to the severity of his injuries Pop was transferred to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) where he is currently listed as being in critical condition.

Police are investigating.
