Belize Weather: 2021 goes out fine weather-wise

By BBN Staff: The Old Year closes out with continued generally fair and dry weather, per the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be mostly sunny and tonight partly cloudy to clear, with isolated showers only if any.

High temperatures are 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 92 degrees inland, and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 70 inland, and 64 in the hills.

Winds are from the east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots and the sea state is choppy. A small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and rough seas locally.

Tides will be high at 8:43 this morning and 7:32 this evening and low at 1:28 this afternoon.

The sun sets at 5:28 this evening and rises on Saturday at 6:22 a.m.

Fair weather brings in the new year with only isolated showers expected.
