Deon McCaulay to play indoor football in the United States with Rome Gladiators

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize’s most prolific international football player Deon McCaulay announced on Thursday that he will be playing in the National Indoor Soccer League (NISL) in the United States.

“Hey Guys I will be playing professional indoor this winter with Rome Gladiators FC in the NISL. Thanks for the continued support!” McCaulay said on social media.

McCaulay will be wearing the number 9 jersey.

The Rome Gladiators, from Rome, Georgia, started out on the negative losing 6-3 to the Memphis Americans.

The Gladiators’ second game will be against Fayetteville Fury on January 9. McCaulay should suit up for that game.

The NISL is a new American league featuring four teams.

McCaulay is still plying for Atletico Atlanta, previously Ginga University, in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) in the United States.
