COVID cases rising in Northern and Belize Districts

By Aaron Humes: 195 new cases were reported in Belize City in the last 24 hours, of a total of 262 for mainland Belize District.

Ladyville saw 19 new cases, Caye Caulker – 10 and San Pedro – 25.

The northern districts of Corozal and Orange Walk together added 91 new cases, including 30 in Orange Walk Town and 27 in Corozal.

The Cayo District saw 95 new cases, with 26 in Belmopan, 25 between the Twin Towns, and 10 in Benque Viejo.

Down south, 17 new cases were reported in Dangriga, 11 in Punta Gorda, and nine between Placencia and Independence.
