The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) and its Referee Department offered condolences to the family of 21-year-old referee Justin Milligan who was shot to death on Monday night.
“The Football Federation of Belize and the Referee Department take this opportunity to express our condolences to the Milligan family,” said the FFB on social media.
“Justin Milligan was a promising referee … who unfortunately lost his life to gun violence yesterday. We also send condolences to the Dominguez family.”
Milligan and 36-year-old Raymond Dominguez were both gunned down at a house on the Maskall Road near Sandhill on Monday night.
They were at the house playing video games when two persons entered and riddled them with bullets.
The police have been asking for help in capturing the gunmen.
