Murder suspect picked out from ID parade and charged

By Aaron Humes: Police have formally arrested and charged Lidahni Martinez, an 18-year-old Belizean construction worker of Dangriga Town for the crime of murder after an identification parade.

Martinez is accused of the murder of Eden Ramos on Friday night, November 26, 2020 in Dangriga Town.

Ramos, 48, was riding on bicycle on Yemeri Road headed toward Zericote Street in the Back-a-Town section, while two men were walking opposite when shots were heard and Ramos went down. The two men suspected of committing the shooting initially escaped; police continue their search for the other suspect.
