By Rubén Morales Iglesias: St. Herman’s Blue Hole National Park is fully open to visitors today.
“St. Herman’s Blue Hole National Park is fully operational and water activities such as swimming and cave tubing are once again allowed since water levels have subsided,” said the Belize Audubon Society (BAS) on social media.
The BAS noted, however, that the water is still murky at the Blue Hole.
Though the park was open on Tuesday for leisure activities on the trails and tours at the Crystal Cave, it suspended swimming activities and cave tubing since heavy rain had resulted in flooding.
“If you take a guided tour today, remember to take precious memories and leave litter in the bins,” said the BAS.
