Department of Agriculture Belize District Office moves to 10 ¾ Miles, Philip Goldson Highway

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) announced that it has relocated the Department of Agriculture Belize District Office.

The Belize District Office is now located at 10 ¾ Miles on the Philip Goldson Highway in Ladyville right next to the NEMO Office at the Tubal Trade and Vocational Institute compound.

Miguel Balan, the Acting District Agriculture Officer, said the Belize District Department of Agriculture’s plans for 2022 include: improvement of farmer organization, amplification of extension communication and information outreach, and better resource management to build climate resiliency and competitiveness of our farmers.
