By Aaron Humes: Chairman of the Corozal Sugar Cane Producers Association (CSCPA) Vladimir Puck faced the press this afternoon as rumblings have emerged of an annual general meeting to be held on Sunday, January 9.
According to Puck, the request came from someone, one Everaldo Uk, who is no longer a member of the Association and hasn’t been one for two years.
Puck mentioned that the resurgence of the COVID-19 pandemic is part of the reason why meetings cannot be held, though he insists it was not an excuse. An AGM is typically scheduled per the Association by-laws in October for the zones and in November for the entire Association.
