Human remains found; who do they belong to?

By Aaron Humes: A discovery of apparent human remains was reported to police on Thursday.

In an area behind the Port of Belize Limited compound, a human skeleton was found about 150 feet from the seaside along with a black beach cruiser bicycle and white bucket.

The discovery was initially made around 3 p.m. Thursday by a fisherman in the area.

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled as police investigations continue.
