Vaccination continues throughout the Belize District on Friday and at one spot in Belize City on Saturday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The vaccination drive continues Friday and Saturday in the Belize District. The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Central Health Region is still giving those who get vaccinated against COVID-19 this week in the Belize District a bag, water bottle, sippy cup, or pen, said the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Central Health Region.

Vaccinations at the Central Health Region vaccination clinic in Belize City will be done on Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm daily. The Central Health Region is located behind the old Bliss Nursing Center in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital compound (access between Social Security Board and the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital off Princess Margaret Drive or next to Social Security on St Joseph St).

The Matron Roberts Polyclinic is vaccinating from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on both Friday and Saturday.

The Port Loyola Health Center is also only doing vaccinations on Friday morning from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm up to Friday.

On Friday, January 7, vaccinations will be done at the Belize Tourism Board from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Vaccinations are also being administered on Friday at the Ladyville Health Center and Caye Caulker Health Center from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

At San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, vaccinations are being given at the San Pedro Lions Den from 8:30 m to 2:00 pm on Friday.

Everyone who gets a COVID-19 vaccination this week in the Belize District will get a bag, water bottle, sippy cup, or pen, said the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Central Health Region.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues encouraging Belizeans 12 years and up to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at any of its vaccination sites countrywide. The MOHW is also advising those persons who qualify for a booster shot to do so now.
