Belize Weather: Cool, damp Sunday forecast

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts cloudy skies at times with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly over the south and coast this morning and over Central and northern areas tonight.

High temperatures are 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 86 degrees inland, and 72 degrees in the hills. Tonight, expect temperatures of 74 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 68 degrees inland, and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is moderate to rough; a small craft caution is in effect for occasional gusty winds and rough seas.

Tides will be low at 9:29 this morning and 10:30 this evening and high at 3:34 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:34 this evening and rises on Monday at 6:25.

For Monday it will be mostly cloudy with showers and periods of light rain, especially over the south.
