Cayo District residents are latest to die from COVID-19

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness has confirmed that two more persons have died from COVID-19.

Both, a male and a female respectively, are from the Cayo District. Both were unvaccinated.

In all, five persons have died so far in January and 607 for the length of the pandemic to date.

To date, more total females have been infected and are actively infected, but more males (368 to 239) have died from the start of the pandemic.

Belize now has close to 37 thousand confirmed cases with 474 samples under investigation.
