By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Central Health Region continues giving everyone who gets a COVID-19 vaccination this week in Belize City a bag, water bottle, sippy cup, or pen.
The vaccination drive continues this week at the Central Health Region vaccination clinic in Belize City up to Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm daily. The Central Health Region is located behind the old Bliss Nursing Center in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital compound (access between Social Security Board and the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital off Princess Margaret Drive or next to Social Security on St Joseph St).
The Matron Roberts Polyclinic and Port Loyola Health Center are vaccinating from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm up to Friday this week.
Vaccinations are also being administered from Tuesday to Friday at the Ladyville Health Center from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
On Tuesday, January 11, vaccinations are also being carried out in Belize City at Anglican Cathedral College from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (midday) and at Mirab from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Vaccinations are also being administered on Wednesday at the Canaan Seventh Day Adventist High School from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (midday).
On Thursday, January 14, vaccinations will be administered at E.P. Yorke High School from 9:00 pm to 12:00 pm (midday).
This week there is no vaccination on Saturday because of the George Price Holiday.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues encouraging Belizeans 12 years and up to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at any of its vaccination sites countrywide. The MOHW is also advising those persons who qualify for a booster shot to do so now.
