Trio granted bail after being busted with over 2 pounds of marijuana

By BBN Staff: Three Belize City residents were granted bail at the Belize City Magistrate Court on Monday after allegedly being busted with a little over 2 pounds of marijuana over the weekend.

Ralph Martinez Jr., 27; Steven Bradley, 29; and Esther Young, appeared in court represented by attorney Ronell Gonzalez. They were arraigned before Chief Magistrate Sharon Fraser on a charge of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply.

The bust was made on January 8, on North Front Street after police received intelligence of a vehicle transporting marijuana.

Bail was granted to each in the sum of $2,500 plus one surety of the same. They are due back in court on March 10.
