When and where to get vaccinated at the cayes

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Central Health Region continues giving everyone who gets a COVID-19 vaccination this week in Belize District a bag, water bottle, sippy cup, or pen, and that includes the cayes.

The vaccination drive continues this week daily up to Friday at the Caye Caulker Health Center from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Vaccinations in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, are being administered at the San Pedro Lions Den on Monday and Tuesday from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm, and on Friday from 8:30 m to 2:00 pm.

This week vaccinations will be carried out at Turneffe Flats on Wednesday, January 12, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and on Thursday, January 13, from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm (midday).

This week there is no vaccination on Saturday because of the George Price Holiday.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues encouraging Belizeans 12 years and up to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at any of its vaccination sites countrywide. The MOHW is also advising those persons who qualify for a booster shot to do so now.
