By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Sacred Heart College in San Ignacio said the institution is postponing face-to-face classes until January 31 due to “the sudden rise of COVID-19 cases in San Ignacio”.
The Sacred Heart College Administration said in a letter to parents and guardians, which was posted on social media, that the school will assess the situation before that date.
“We will assess the situation on the week of January 24th – 28th, and then inform everyone if we will be able to proceed face to face with those students who chose, or [if] we need to prolong the reopening,” said the school.
Sacred Heart College said everyone’s safety is more important.
“We are hoping that we are able to reopen, but we must do so in a safe manner, ensuring the safety and protection of all stakeholders at Sacred Heart College.”
