By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies today with some cloudy spells and cloudy skies at times tonight.
A few showers and periods of light rain will continue offshore and over some southern coastal areas, and more over central areas this afternoon, otherwise isolated.
High temperatures today are 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 84 degrees inland, and 71 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 65 degrees inland, and 60 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the north to northwest at 5 to 15 knots and sea state is light chop.
Tides are high as of 8:05 this morming. A low tide occurs at 12:39 this afternoon and a high tide at 6:50 this evening. The sun sets at 5:37 this evening and rises on Friday at 6:25.
Shower activity is limited to offshore and southern coastal areas on Friday morning, otherwise isolated.
