Minister of Community Development Oscar Requena visits northern villages to discuss their community development plans

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Minister of Rural Transformation, Community Development, and Labour Oscar Requena is visiting northern villages to discuss their community development plans.

A social media post by the Ministry said Minister Requena, accompanied by his Minister of State Ramiro Ramirez and the Ministry’s Chief Executive Officer Valentino Shal, “are visiting the northern villages to meet with village councils, water boards, and farmers to discuss their community development plans.”

On Thursday morning the team visited farmers cooperatives in Concepcion Village in the Corozal District.

They were accompanied by Florencio Marin Jr, Minister of National Defense and Border Security and Area Representative for Corozal South East.
