The National Meteorological Service of Belize says it’s about to get cold.
The general forecast for today is for a strong cold front to cross the country today.
Skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy and will be mostly clear tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop mainly over inland and northern areas at first then move to coastal areas and offshore by this afternoon. Tonight little rainfall is expected. High temperatures today are 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 78 degrees inland, and 68 degrees in the hills. Tonight temperatures fall to 64 degrees along the coast, 58 degrees inland, and 54 degrees in the hills. Winds will be blowing Northwest between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and locally rough seas.
High tide will come in at 9:58 a.m. and again at 8:58 p.m. Low tide will occur at 2:46 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:38 p.m. and the moon will rise at 4:39 p.m.
