US-based travel site names Caye Caulker a must-visit destination for summer 2022

By Benjamin Flowers: TheTravel.com is encouraging summer travelers to come down to Caye Caulker for the summer of 2022.

In a recently published article titled “Caye Caulker Will Be Your New Fave Summer Destination” travel writer Gabriel Kirellos describes Caye Caulker as ” the perfect summer destination with a laid-back vibe, fantastic nightlife, and deep turquoise water…”

Kirellos goes on to say that Caye Caulker boasts many activities, from eating, shopping, and drinking to playing and swimming, but the small size makes for an intimate experience that’s unique among the world’s destinations.

“The Split is the perfect destination for day drinking, mingling with other travelers, and lounging in the sun when spending summer vacation on Belize’s Caye Caulker. This island region consists of a narrow channel dividing Caye Caulker into the northern and southern sides of the island,” Kirellos said.

The article also featured shoutouts to the Lazy Lizard Bar, catamaran cruise with captain Carlos, the Gypsy Queen boat, Errolyns House of Fry Jacks, Namaste Cafe, and Koko King.

Positive international mentions are an important part of the overall marketing geared towards helping Belize’s tourism sector recover from the downturn experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic. This latest mention helps to start 2022 off in the right direction marketing-wise, particularly at a time when the omicron variant has begun creating some uncertainty for global travel.
