Alrick Lamb shot in same area as recent murder

By Aaron Humes: Following an attack on one Alrick Lamb early Saturday morning near the Collet Education and Resource Center, police have stepped up patrols although they have not established any link to recent incidents.

However, Lamb was attacked in the same area where welder Dorian Tzac was murdered last week.

Police say Lamb was on a bicycle when he heard a vehicle approaching and as he tried to turn into a nearby lane, what sounded like gunfire.

Lamb was shot to the right thigh and ankle and is stable in hospital.

It was pointed out that Lamb is familiar with law enforcement and reported to have his own problems with persons in the area.
