Double stabbing reported in Punta Gorda

By BBN Staff: Two men were stabbed in Punta Gorda Town on Monday night.

Police say officers visited the Punta Gorda Community Hospital around 11:15 p.m. to find Roberto Barrientos and Lazaro Barrientos with stab wounds to the body.

Initial investigations are that the duo was socializing in the Hollywood Area of Punta Gorda Town around 10:45 p.m. when someone known to them approached them and inflicted the stab wounds.

Police say that they issued medico legal forms to both victims, but they are currently not cooperating with the investigation.
