Fire destroys houses in Dangriga

By Aaron Humes: Reports from residents of Dangriga Town, Stann Creek District, are that fire has claimed two structures in the Wagierale area this morning.

The property of Nadine Augustine, a well-known resident, was completely destroyed.

We understand one of the buildings was used for the private and sacred Garifuna ritual.

Investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
