By Aaron Humes: On the heels of a record number of COVID-19 cases on the weekend, another single-day record was set just a week after the previous one.
1,248 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, nearly 30 percent of the more than 4,200 people tested, with another 384 samples under investigation.
578 recoveries were reported and Belize has shot past 8 thousand active cases.
However, no new deaths were reported.
