Bernard shared statistics with the media this afternoon, showing that the lowest percentage of vaccinated healthcare staff is 86 percent, which is in Belmopan.

In the Belize District, 95 percent of all health workers are vaccinated, while Orange Walk and Toledo are tied at 98 percent.

Meanwhile, it is confirmed that 99 percent of health workers in San Ignacio are vaccinated and 100 percent of all health workers in Independence.

Data on vaccinated health workers in Dangriga is still pending.

The Ministry’s data also shows that over 212,000 people are now vaccinated against COVID-19. (See full story here)
