By Aaron Humes: The Cayo District has recorded 216 new cases of COVID-19, five more than the mainland Belize District.
The Corozal District added 112 cases, Orange Walk – 103, Stann Creek – 70, San Pedro – 56, and Toledo – 46.
Among the municipalities, Belize City added 144 new cases; San Ignacio/Santa Elena – 79; Orange Walk Town – 59, Corozal Town – 46; Dangriga – 27; Belmopan and Benque Viejo – 26 each; and Punta Gorda – 18.
Villages with double-digit reported new cases include Ladyville with 21, Pomona with 11, and Caye Caulker with 10.
