BBN Staff: Stephen Duncan has reportedly stepped down from UDP Shadow Cabinet on Wednesday.
Duncan said in WhatsApp Message to the UDP Shadow Committee that he had resigned as shadow minister of finance, according to Love News.
“As I exit this chat group, I thought it respectful to each of you to say that I just sent my resignation as a member of the Shadow Committee to the Secretary General. It was nice working with you and it is unfortunate it has to end this way,” said Duncan in his message on Wednesday afternoon.
UDP Chairman, Michael Peyrefitte reportedly told Love News that he was unaware of such resignation.
Duncan resigned as a UDP Senator under the Dean Barrow administration in February 2020 but accepted the position of shadow minister of finance under present leader Patrick Faber last December.
