By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The number of persons 12-17 years of age who are fully vaccinated is now at 24,755 persons, says the Ministry of Health and Wellness in its COVID-19 Vaccination Daily Report for Thursday, January 20, 2021.

So far, a total of 212,290 persons have received the first dose of multiple-dose vaccines. That’s 65 more than the day before. Additionally, according to the PAHO update of January 19, 2022, 19,705 had received a single dose vaccine (Janssen). That puts the total who have received at least one dose at 231,995.

Out of that number, 202,348 are now fully vaccinated; 175 more when compared to Wednesday’s report.

In the 18-Years-and-older category, 240 persons got vaccinated from Tuesday to Wednesday.

The MOHW said that so far 26,702 persons have received a booster shot. That number increased by 906 over Wednesday’s report.

Meanwhile, the MOHW keeps encouraging everyone to get vaccinated and advising Belizeans who are already vaccinated to get a booster.
