Sam’s Club in Santa Elena robbed by five-man team

By BBN Staff: Five armed men robbed Sam’s Club, located in the Red Creek Area of Santa Elena Town, Cayo District, last night.

Police say that around 6:50 p.m. two armed men entered the store demanding money and assaulting customers. Three more men would later enter the store to assist the first two, one of which tried to disconnect the store’s security cameras.

The culprits managed to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, a cellphone from a customer in the store valued at $558, and six laptops, the total value of which is currently unknown.

Police are seeking several suspects at this time in an ongoing investigation.
