Man and woman injured in Ladyville shooting

By BBN Staff: A man and a woman were both injured in a shooting incident in Ladyville Village this morning.

The incident occurred in the Hell Road Area off Marage Road, shortly before 11:00 a.m. Kera Orellano, told police she was in her room along with Tyrese Gladden, when she noticed two men with guns approaching the house. She alerted Gladden who ran off, jumping through a back window.

She said she then heard loud bangs and realized they were being shot at. After the shooting, the two assailants ran down Hell Road in the direction of Tabonys.

Orellano and Gladden were taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital after the incident where she was treated for a slight leg injury while Gladden was treated for an injury to the right ankle.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
