By BBN Staff: A man and a woman managed to survive a motorcycle accident on the George Price Highway last night but police had to take them to the hospital for their injuries because they were unable to get an ambulance.
Police say that they responded to a report of an accident at Mile 32 near Cheers Restaurant, where they found 20-year-old Abraham Caal with abrasions on both arms and bleeding from the mouth, along with 32-year-old Anjalina Caal, who had head injuries and was also bleeding from the nose and mouth.
Reports are that the couple had just left Cheers Restaurant when Abraham Caal lost control of the motorcycle and they both fell off.
Police further say they called for an ambulance but were told that there were no drivers available, so police personnel from Mahogany Heights escorted the couple to the Western Regional Hospital for treatment.
