Another net reduction in active COVID-19 cases recorded

By Aaron Humes: The Ministry of Health and Wellness tonight reports 9,346 active cases of COVID-19 after a net reduction of 135 cases.

735 new cases were reported today against 868 recoveries, with another 375 samples under investigation. The daily positivity rate stands at 25.3 percent and the overall positivity rate at 11.4 percent, with 79.3 percent recovered.

No new deaths were reported, leaving that figure at 624.

Overall, Belize has now reported 49,794 total cases throughout the pandemic.
