Belize Weather: Mix of sunshine and some showers

The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies today with cloudy intervals and clear to partly cloudy skies tonight. A few showers will occur mainly inland this afternoon and offshore and near coastal areas late tonight; otherwise isolated.

High temperatures are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 86 degrees inland and 76 degrees in the hills; low temperatures tonight are 74 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 62 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to northeasterly at 5 to 10 knots and sea state is slight with waves of one to three feet.

Tides will be low at 10:57 this morning, then high at 5:12 this evening. Sunset is at a quarter to six this evening and sunrise on Friday at 6:25.

There is a projected increase in showery activity and possible isolated thunderstorms over the north and inland during the day and over Southern and coastal areas at night.
