Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital asks COVID patients’ families to get their belongings

Posted: Thursday, January 27, 2022. 4:32 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes: If you are a family member of a patient admitted to the COVID/Patient Under Investigation (PUI) unit of the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH), the hospital is asking that you kindly arrange to receive any belongings left behind.

In a statement, the Hospital Authority invites those affected to contact the Public Relations Unit as 223-2196 or 223-1548 extension 279 to arrange pick-up of patients’ belongings and valuables that were left behind at the COVID/PUI Unit.

Any belongings not retrieved by next Friday, February 4, the hospital says, will be discarded according to the hospital’s disposal guidelines.
