By Benjamin Flowers: The Punta Gorda Lands Department will remain closed tomorrow, according to a notice published by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Petroleum and Mining.

The Ministry said that the office, located at 41 Prince Street, Punta Gorda Town, was closed today and will remain closed tomorrow, with normal business resuming on Monday, January 31.

“The public is hereby reminded that the status of an application can be viewed on the ministry’s website.” the Ministry said.

Several other government offices issued notices of closure this week, many of them due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
