Westrac Limited to open new branch in Dangriga Friday

By Aaron Humes: Customers down South have an opportunity to take advantage of discounts on much-needed automotive, industrial and agricultural vehicle parts now available at a Dangriga branch of Westrac Limited.

According to Julian Thiessen, marketing manager, when Westrac opens its doors in the Culture Capital tomorrow, Friday, at 10 a.m., there will be a 15 percent discount through next week on selected items.

Westrac, founded in 1969 in Spanish Lookout, is now Belize’s leading supplier of automotive and agricultural equipment parts. In addition to its parent service and retail shop, it has branches in Orange Walk, Belize City, and Belmopan,

Thiessen explained that Westrac already has a long-standing partnership with the citrus industry and is looking to tap into the tourism triangle of Dangriga, Hopkins and Placencia to supply automotive parts and repairs. It carries many well-recognized brands from John Deere and PureGuard to WD-40 and Shell.

Official opening ceremonies featuring area representative Dr Louis Zabaneh and Mayor Robert Mariano will begin at 9 a.m. and Breaking Belize News will carry coverage all day tomorrow.
