The National Meteorological Service says generally fair weather will prevail today, but get ready for cooler conditions tonight and on the weekend.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy to cloudy skies tonight. Showers will be isolated in daytime hours and occur along the coast and offshore tonight and Saturday morning with potential isolated thunderstorms.
High temperatures today reach 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees inland and 76 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 70 degrees along the coast, 66 degrees inland and 60 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly at 5 to 15 knots and sea state is slight.
Tides will be high at 7:48 this morning, then low at 12 midday and high again at 6:22 this evening. The sun sets at a quarter to six this evening and rises at 6:25 Saturday morning.
For Saturday skies will be cloudy in spells with generally cool and windy conditions prevailing and morning showers and isolated thunderstorms along the coast.
