Cayo police chase suspicious man; find bag of bullets after he escapes

By BBN Staff: Police in the Cayo district have found just under 50 live .9mm rounds after pursuing a suspicious man early this morning.

Around 10:20 a.m., officers on mobile patrol came across a suspicious man near the slaughterhouse at the entrance of Benque Viejo Town.

When the man saw the officers, he threw away a bag he was holding and ran off. Police later retrieved the bag and found 49 live .9mm rounds.

The officers labeled the ammunition as found property.
