San Pedro man busted with over three kilograms of weed, denied bail

By BBN Staff: A San Pedro, Ambergris Caye resident is on remand at the Belize Central Prison after being caught with over three kilograms of weed.

Corey Lizama appeared unrepresented in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court where he pleaded not guilty to a charge of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to another with respect to 3,126 grams of marijuana found during a police search of his home on Thursday, January 27.

He was denied bail and will remain on remand until March when he is due back in court.
