Cayo District continues to lead COVID-19 table

By Aaron Humes: Double-digit cases in its primary municipalities continue to keep the Cayo District at the top of the daily COVID-19 new case table.

Today it reported 220 new cases including 70 total in San Ignacio (47) and Santa Elena (23); 60 in Belmopan, including 41 in the capital proper; and 14 in Benque Viejo.

Other major settlements with Double-digit cases include Camalote with 16 and Bullet Tree Falls with 12.

Belize City continues to lead the daily municipal table with 114 new cases of 160, with another 15 in Ladyville.

Corozal Town added 28 of 67 new cases; Orange Walk Town 62 of 99; San Pedro Town 35; Dangriga 14, Placencia 12 and Independence nine of 63 total new cases in Stann Creek District; and Punta Town 26 and Bella Vista village 16 of 75 new cases in the Toledo District.
