Day-to-day rise reported in number of persons hospitalized with COVID-19

By Aaron Humes: The number of active cases is just over 8,100 at the start of February after another net fall in COVID-19 cases was reported today.
According to the Ministry of Health and Wellness, 719 new cases of COVID-19 were canceled out by 976 new recoveries with 359 samples under investigation.
No new deaths were reported as 23 persons remained hospitalized and six in intensive care.
Belize now has 52,004 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, and 43,232 of these have recovered with 629 dead.
