Nicaraguan coach makes only two changes to Nicaragua’s lineup against Belize tonight

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Nicaraguan newspaper La Prensa was expecting at least six changes in the Nicaraguan National Football Team lineup for tonight, but coach Juan Vita only made two changes.

Vita is sending nearly the same team that defeated Belize 4-0 on Saturday much to the chagrin of many fans who wanted the coach to try the players he had benched on Saturday night.

Belize’s Coach David Pérez Asensio made five changes to the Belize lineup, putting in the more experienced players for tonight’s game which kicks off at 7:00 at the Dennis Martinez National Stadium in Managua. Check the FFB’s Facebook page for the game’s link.

Belize and Nicaragua are playing two friendly matches in preparation for the CONCACAF Nations League which comes up in June.
