By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) on Tuesday, February 1, recorded the first cattle export for 2022.
“A total of 294 cattle or 144,656 pounds of beef cattle successfully exported to Mexico. This represents a total of approximately Bz$289,300.00 in revenue generated,” said Belarmino Esquivel, Principal Agriculture Office and Livestock Director at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE).
Up to December 2021, a total of 2,865 head of livestock worth $2,600,000 had been exported to Su Karne in Michoacán, Mexico since September 2020, Esquivel said.
