63-year-old Unitedville man seriously injured in traffic accident

By BBN Staff: An elderly man was seriously injured in a road traffic accident in Esperanza Village a short while ago.

He has been identified as 63-year-old Edward Gongora, a resident of Unitedville.

Details on the accident itself are still forthcoming but reports are that Gongora was transported to the Western Regional Hospital where he was found to have multiple rib fractures and severe head injuries. A doctor has reportedly classified his injuries as life threatening.

He remains admitted in a critical condition.
