Minister Bernard promises to improve work environment at Central Lab

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Minister of Health and Wellness (MOHW) Kevin Bernard has promised to improve the work environment at Central Lab.

According to a Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) post on social media, Minister Bernard made the promise during a visit to the Central Lab in Belize City.

The visit is part of his familiarization tour of health and health-related facilities.

“The Minister met with staff and committed to immediately addressing work environment concerns,” said the MOHW.

The MOHW post also said that the Central Lab is to undergo a major upgrade which has been scheduled for November 2022 under a joint European Union/Pan American Health Organization project.
