BEL advises of planned power interruption in Corozal District on Sunday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) advises customers of a planned power interruption in the Corozal District on Sunday, February 6.

The outage will be from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The power interruption will affect the entire Corozal District except, Buena Vista and Caledonia Villages.

BEL said the interruption is “to conduct maintenance and commission new equipment at the Corozal Substation, relocate and install high voltage line poles and hardware as part of Ministry of Works’ Road Work projects for Chan Chen and San Pedro Village Roads, and relocate transmission lines as part of upgrades along the Philip Goldson Highway”.
