Mainland Belize District regains lead in COVID-19 daily table

By Aaron Humes: The surge in COVID-19 cases in the Cayo District appears to be receding.

Just 94 total cases were reported, including 28 total between San Ignacio and Santa Elena Towns, 27 in Belmopan and its residential zones and eight in Benque Viejo Town, along with six in Camalote.

Meanwhile, Mainland Belize District leads with 112 cases total including 90 in Belize City, while San Pedro Town added 16.

There were 30 new cases in Orange Walk Town of 53 new cases overall in the Orange Walk District; nine in Corozal Town of 32 in the Corozal District; seven in Dangriga of 21 in the Stann Creek District; and Punta Gorda Town six and Bella Vista five of 18 new cases in the Toledo District.
