Belize Weather: Cloudy, stormy Saturday in store

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly cloudy skies today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers or periods of light rain will develop mainly along coastal areas and offshore this morning, spreading inland this afternoon and offshore again tonight.

High temperatures today are 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 79 degrees inland, and 68 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 68 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 64 inland, and 60 in the hills.

Winds are northerly at 5 to 10 knots and sea conditions are slight.

Tides will be high at 1:05 this afternoon and low at 7:36 this evening. Sunset is at ten minutes to six this evening and sunrise on Sunday is at 6:23 a.m.

There will be cloudy spells on Sunday with light rain developing mainly offshore.
